Ordering Information:
Variation between tiles is to be expected, and is a natural feature of handmade tiles. The tiles may vary slightly in their size, shape, surface quality, and color. For field tiles and customized colors, a range sample must be seen and approved before ordering. All tiles are made to order.
We recommend ordering between 5-10% more than required for the project. This amount should cover breakage at installation and tiles which may need to be replaced in the future. It also ensures that your extra tiles will match as close as possible in color to the rest of your order.
All orders require a 50% deposit, and cannot be canceled. The balance must be paid before the shipment is sent, or if not shipped, when the tiles are received. Shipping of orders is at cost, UPS or truck, with a minimum handling charge.
Return & Warranty
All tiles should be inspected upon delivery, and any claims must be made within 30 days of receipt and prior to installation. Workmanship defect is the only acceptable reason for return. We do not guarantee that the tiles will be resistant to wear and tear once installed. We do not have control over, and are not responsible for, anything pertaining to the installation of our tiles, their usage, treatment, or maintenance.
Delivery
All projects are made to order. On average, expect 3-10 weeks for completion, depending on size and complexity. Smaller projects may be faster, large projects may take longer. Please specify if you have a deadline for the receipt of the tiles. A specific time estimate will be given before deposits are accepted.
Installation Tips
Sanded grout is generally used for grout lines over 1/8 inch wide, and is recommended for most handmade tiles.
Always test a sample of tile before grouting- dark grout may stain light glazes, and light grout may stain dark glazes.
